Speed up your WiFi

Basic actions you can take to make wifi faster and more stable.

Most Wifi Routers use the 2.4 GHz Frequency (some now using 5 Ghz), the less interference you have on that frequency and its sub frequencies 2.412 - 2.484 the better the speed and stability of your Wifi will be.

How can I find out what Frequency my Wifi Router is Using ?

1) Note your SSID (the name of your network)
2) Download and Install one of the following programs

3) Define which channel your router is using and if it is used by other neighboring routers,
if it is try to find the one which is free or has a low radio signal from the other routers.
